PvP Rewards
Generally in the past I either didn't care about skins when rolling a character or I'd have a maxed out PvE character with all the required gear. But tournament reward points and copper/silver coins have accumulated and working on unlocking fancy/exotic is something to do while I wait for GW2 and other games to come out.
I've read the descriptions and wikis a few times and have googled + searched guru but I still haven't had a concrete answer. Does purchasing the reward - even after deleting it and the character that made it - still count towards the 50 required to get to fancy/exotic? The common sense answer says yes - it records the number of purchases so it doesn't matter if you delete the item and character. I guess I'd just like some confirmation from someone with experience in this area. |

Yes, it still counts after you delete those weapons/armor.
Also note: 1. You don't have to buy multiple copies of same weapons for every PvP character if you don't need more of the same skin; you can just transfer them via heroes (i.e. put on your Koss with one character, then reroll and pick it up from Koss on other character, getting that character's customization). 2. When buying EotN exclusive headgear (blindfold, dread mask...) it is bound to the attribute of the headpiece you upgrade it with (unlike the PvE headgear which have "+1 Item's Attribute" that ca be changed with runes). Enjoy your fancy exotic skins! |
